U.M.I.N "Pionners" Collection
I collaborated with Lagos-based fashion house U.M.I.N by Ugo Mozie and Ifeanyi Nwunye on their collection "Pionners". This collection is a celebration of African pioneers in fields across politics, arts and music.
I designed all t-shirts from scratch using Adobe Illustartor and Photoshop
Fela Kuti: This T-shirt is an ode to afrobeat creator and renowned musician Fela Kuti. The t-shirt features a collage of texts and fonts of Fela's most notable and defining singles and albums.
Halie Sellasie: Portrait of Halie Sellasie, the revered and respected emperor of Ethiopia. The shirt celebrates the emperor by using one of his most popular and powerful portraits to portray his royalty and strength. The back of the t-shirt uses a lion crest with the colours of the Ethiopian flag, designed by digital artist "MIKEDAWN" with the lion of "Lion of Judah" text, a popular name used to describe the emperor.
Nelson Mandela: Graphic T-Shirt celebrating Nelson Mandela. The t-shirt features an iconic portrait of Mandela with the text "Madiba: on top, which was a clan name used to celebrate him. His portrait is complemented by a collage of plaques from multiple protests across the globe to demand his release from prison and reinforcement of his anti-apartheid ideologies.
Kwame Nkrumah: This T-shirt celebrates Kwame Nkrumah, the revolutionary and first president of independent Ghana. The t-shirt features a silhouette of Nkrumah with the Ghanaian flag colours of red, yellow and green in the middle of the Ghanaian black flag.

I design all clothing from scratch using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
I am involved in every aspect of the design process, from ideation and design to production and iterations
Collection 1: This was the first collection I worked on with the brand. This collection consists of graphic-heavy T-shirts and serves as an introduction to the brand for the viewer.
Collection 3: In the 3rd collection, "Protekt Da Kidz", new garment designs are introduced, such as a mesh top for women featuring heavy graphics and a Red and black colour scheme for this collection.
Collection 4: This collection is an extension of collection 3 and maintains the 'Protekt Da Kidz" theme and colour scheme but with more advanced designs and garments.
Collection 5: This collection is titled "Rebirth" and consists of a hoodie and cargo pants set with a wool scarf to match. This collection sees the brand venturing into more advanced designs, yet sticking to the brand identity and ethos
Collection 6: "Infantry", the latest collection, sees a heavy military-inspired collection with accessorised t-shirts and a 2 piece set for women.
